Our Programmes
Three ways to learn with Hikmah
Each programme is built around the idea that a person who understands their own finances can make better decisions for the household — without needing to become a financial professional.
Money and the Middle Decades
A five-week introduction for those who have reached their forties and would like to take stock without rushing into anything. Covers CPF, insurance, emergency reserves and a first look at long-horizon investing. Sessions are held on weekday evenings with a recording available the following morning.
- Household cash flow overview
- CPF and insurance review
- Printable PDF reading materials
The Singapore Household Investment Course
A nine-week course for those who would like to learn enough about investing to make their own informed choices. Covers Singapore-listed vehicles, index funds, dividend shares, Singapore Savings Bonds and how much risk a household in its forties or fifties may sensibly carry.
- Two facilitators per session
- Singapore Savings Bonds explained
- Household risk assessment
The Family Conversations Track
A six-session private programme for individuals and couples who would like to bring family members into the household financial picture in a thoughtful way — ageing parents, adult children, the family home, or planning for capacity in later years.
- Tailored to your household
- Written session summary included
- Recommended-reading list afterwards
Why Hikmah
Designed for where you actually are
Most financial education is aimed at people in their twenties or at professionals managing large portfolios. Hikmah was built for a different stage of life.
No unnecessary hurry
Sessions are spaced so that what you hear in one week can settle before the next topic arrives. There is no pressure to decide anything during the programme.
Singapore-specific content
Every example, every product and every regulation discussed relates to the Singapore household. CPF, HDB considerations, SRS accounts and Singapore Savings Bonds — not generic international frameworks.
Small groups by design
The investment course caps enrolment at twenty. Two facilitators attend each session so that questions receive a considered answer rather than being deferred to another time.
Plain written materials
Reading materials are available as printable PDFs for those who prefer paper. Nothing is locked behind an app or a login that expires.
No product sales
Hikmah does not sell investment products or receive referral fees. The programmes exist solely to help participants understand their options more clearly.
Household-level thinking
Financial decisions at this stage of life affect the entire household. Hikmah addresses the family dimension of money — including conversations that many families find difficult to begin.
A quiet first step
You do not need to have everything figured out before you reach out
Write to us with a question, describe where your household stands, or simply ask which programme might suit your situation. There is no obligation attached to the conversation.
